Survivalist/bushcraft experts

I'm not sure if these people are well known in Canada and the US:

Ray Mears (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Mears) is quite prolific on British TV. His shows range from the educational/instructional to stories of survival and they're well worth watching.

Les Hiddins (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Hiddins) Is an Australian bushcraft expert. He only did three seasons of "The Bush Tucker Man", the first two are educational/instructional and the third contains stories of survival. They're quite old now but they were essential viewing in my youth.
