  1. Why isn't the way sprains and bites handled intelligent? You're turning this into a micromanagement game and it's seriously making me upset that I spent money on this game. You're supposedly making advancements on the story that you keep rethinking and adjusting and stalling on delivering on. But I think I could handle that if you weren't fucking with the survival game so much. (pardon my language). When you get a sprain or are hurt from a bite, if there's pain, why the hell do I need to indicate that pain medicine is to resolve the PAIN? Seriously, Or that antiseptic is for the infection risk? Now you've also added that you need to bandage a sprain? Great. So why do I need to indicate that the bandage is for the actual sprain and not for the pain? If you really want to make this a micromanagement game, then why not force the player to do things in a specific order or it doesn't work at all? Why not make it that you have to clean the wound, apply antiseptic AND THEN apply a bandage to it? If you're not trying for a micromanagement game, then make the system intelligent. I took pain pills, it resolves the pain. Or if I apply the bandage first, then it covers the wound or sprain. You've finally added a pistol, and while it's not the greatest thing, you've listened and are trying to work with us. Great. Except, unlike the rifle or the flare gun(have not checked if you changed it on the flare gun since the last game update), you can randomly fire it if you have it unholstered and you are going to pick something up, open a door or otherwise click an action, but you've accidentally overshot the action area and the dot isn't on what you want to do. I'm a jumpy person by nature so accidentally firing the pistol four or five times in a game also leads to more frustration. But, frankly, the sprain system and the micromanagement of the rest make this more a frustration engine game anymore. I can't play it without ending up snarling tot he point my wife tells me to stop playing. This isn't how a game is supposed to be. Now it's down to if I'm ever going to play again, which upsets me as I spent money on this (I think, I may have gotten this through humble bundle, but money was invested), and you actually had me invested in finding out the story when (if?) you actually delivered on the promised remaining episodes. Why should I bother with half of the game if the other half is unplayable?
  2. A) When I load my old game, as opposed to starting fresh, I still encounter objects floating above the ground or they're half in the ground in the case of boxes. I only have a couple pictures because they were just encountered too often. (first five images) I will repeat, this is only found in a game I was saved before your floating object bug fix, and is not encountered (yet) in any fresh games. B) The sprain system may be fixed, but the last game I played all of the sprains were in my hand. The left hand to be specific. Each time I've encountered this I've had the pistol equipped. (no pictures) C) Also with the sprain system: I keep encountering a bug where I'll clear the danger of a sprain sign, go a couple seconds or more in the clear, encounter a sprain risk again and a moment later I have a sprain regardless of what I do. This is unencumbered and healthy, not tired. Is this how the sprain system is supposed to work? (no pictures) D) in the Ranger Station next to the Mystery Lake, the upstairs fire stove, the fire casts light through the floor into the first floor. Nice that I don't need to use my lantern, but still, a bug. (image 6) E) In the upper dam, the catwalk area, if you accidentally go to the spot I've taken a picture, you're stuck there and have to relaod your game because the board can't be climbed over and the other three sides are blocked in. Either something should completely prevent the ability to get into that nook or the board could be destructible or the ability to lift the foot that quarter inch higher to actually step over that obstacle? Would sure be nice to have a jump (or even a hop) ability, ya know? Anyway it's sliced is a stupid bug. (image 7) F) Near the western entrance of the Marsh (the tunnel leading towards mystery lake) just as you are passing from the valley leading from the tunnel area into the open on the right hand side, there is an invisible log or post or something directly in front of where image 8 is looking. You can go around it, but is an annoyance.
  3. I really enjoy the game, but one of the things that has always been off putting in the experience is the random "you've sprained something". I understand that people slip and fall but there are times that it seems the character is actually jonesing for meds rather than actually getting hurt. And then other times when nothing at all happens for long stretches. But, what really is off putting, is the lack of any sort of stumbling/tripping/falling animation. That, ac tually is my main complaint. I don't mind the rest, but at least make some sort of animation where the camera nose plants in the snow and then show the camera looking at the hand or leg that the sprain happened on... and if it happened to two limbs, then pick one. This would resolve a great deal of my angst towards the whole random injury system if it actually showed that you did something to get the injury, not just "ah... oh god, that smarts" with no actual visual trigger. Your wrist just doesn't sprain itself while you're walking along. You hit something, you fell, SOMETHING happened. Is something like this at all forthcoming with the new additions to your development team?
