  1. Good to hear that the studio still pulls in enough money from game sales. I remember thinking in Dec 2018 after you doubled back to release Redux, that your morbid obsession with completing all 5 episodes (for free) to honor some long forgotten promise would be your undoing. Good to know I was wrong. Right. This survey was well put-together, and I hope its very informative to you for your business decisions.
  2. Some additional North American buildings in a similar style, and constructed around the same time: Haydn Hall - 1901 Mather Memorial Building - 1911 Check out the windows on the Portsmouth Naval Prison - 1912 These are just ones that I was already familiar with because I've lived near them. I'm sure that if you researched, you could find ones specific to the Pacific Northwest.
  3. We know that Hinterland has taken inspiration from real-life entities on Vancouver Island in the past, so what if we google something like "Vancouver island prison" just for kicks? Hmm, would you look at that! It's the Vancouver Island Regional Correction Centre, constructed in 1914.
  4. It's not possible to kill the ghost stag. I caught the stag in a pathfinding loop and shot at it many times with both rifle and revolver.
  5. A person on the wiki just commented that they are having the same problem after placing survivors down but not on the unoccupied beds.
  6. Have you tried loading from a previous autosave? If I remember correctly, it will autosave when you find a survivor, so you might have to redo the walk back carrying the survivor.
  7. An article in 2015 said the Hinterland team was split half and half between the Cumberland studio and the distributed model. What does the distribution look like in 2018, now that Hinterland has a downtown Vancouver studio, more employees, and is better established?
  8. The problem I see with being able to change settings mid-game is that players will inevitably - given the chance - change the settings when they are in a tight spot. Similar to in minecraft where you could change the difficulty to peaceful right when you were about to die... It detracts from the game, particularly in a permadeath game like TLD. "If I get attacked by a wolf one more time, I'll loose my 500 day run, so I'll just change to pilgrim settings for a while."
