  1. Not sure if we are allowed to recommend other games on here. If you like TLD then I reckon you will like my new addiction that is: Hobo tough life. Some similar mechanics to TLD keeping warm , hunger etc It's a pretty basic game on the surface but once you get in to it, is surprisingly an in depth survival rpg. anyway let me know what you guys think.
  2. Yeah that's a point, speaking of normal lanterns though. That's not a bad idea ,we could have a lantern be attachable to some kind of wall mounted shelf with extra fuel capacity. Not sure what we could use for a makeshift /craftable one 🤔. Maybe some recycled cans with a longer wick or something. Or just sacrifice a spare lantern for the crafting process. Even if its just a basic old school style of oil lamp.(like the pre industrial type, can't think of the name) I'm just really hoping we get some kind of longer lasting lightsource once we get base customisation.
  3. So we fist saw these in story mode in Blackrock, and now we have them in survival mode as well. I would like to be able to craft these when we get base/safe house customisation. Would be OP If they are infinite like they work in Langstone mine. Therefore I think it would be a good idea to require us to fill it up with lamp oil and when filled can last for up to 24 hrs on a full tank(or however long hinterland thinks would be fair) And obviously be able to turn it on or off when leaving on a long journey. What do you all think? Good addition or too OP?
  4. With regards to the tools or clues part at 1/2. I had the same thing after finding the bolt cutters I didn't realise there was a note/journal entry on the desk to be picked up. Hope this helps
  5. Yeah I'd say go for it. Before the save wipe, I had an over 800 days run going. Didnt have any issues with ammo (and if you pick up the shells you can make more) I like the harsh weather , scarce resources and having to make my own knives and hatchets. But on interloper only I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of the games mechanics. Can't level all skills and milling machine is pointless. But a custom interloper with guns enabled gives you the full experience IMHO. Personally I would like an option to play interloper settings but with only the collectibles/variants spawning and full loot in signal void bunkers. Will have to wait and see if they add some new toggles/selections for custom setup

  7. Does anyone have a list of all the new buffs/debuffs for the new cooking recipes? So I've had a look through the list of foods and I see some effect icons listed but there is no way to select them, in order to see what they are. I've seen YT vids where PC players can hover the cursor over the effects, but this can't be done on console.

  9. So after tftft has been released with the new item variants, I tested a custom gunterloper to see if the variants would spawn. When setting both rifles and revolvers to yes/available the new rifle variants did not spawn in. Therefore I would like to request a toggle in custom for all item variants to spawn. Including the spelunkers lantern and maybe the bow. Although for interloper settings I think an unlockable blueprint for the bow could be a good reward for completing/unlocking the tales bunkers. (But I would be happy with just a toggle for all item variants) My second request is for a toggle on/off or maybe very low spawn rate of gun cleaning kits. My reasoning is that I like the difficulty of interloper settings, but also being able to level all skills. In a previous version (just prior to tftft release) There was a bug where having guns available on interloper settings would not allow gun cleaning kits to spawn. I really liked this though as it kind of incentivised not using the guns too often, but most importantly it gave me a reason to go to and use the milling machines and ammo crafting benches on interloperesque settings.

  11. Could be a good reward for completing signal void on interloper settings instead of the rifle holster.
  12. My pre dlc run it took me over 500 days to level mending. Personally I think this could be Improved a lot if crafting clothing also gave points toward levelling. Also I would like the reward for reaching lvl 5 mending to be able to repair ruined clothing. Although admittedly I'm just a bit salty from a long interloper run, where I got to my second wool sweater too late.

  14. What about a fishing day/days? Personally I stocked up the fishing hut on crystal lake with enough wood for 20+days. And that is how I celebrated reaching 500 days.
  15. I'm sure I've had this happen once or twice before. I think I had recently dumped/stored 30+ sticks in a stone cache. (Does this sound relevant to your situation?) Then headed out to collect more picked up about 4x sticks and became encumbered I remember thinking hmm thts weird, checked inventory and had over 100 sticks. Ive been meaning to test it but I think , it's forgetting you just stored some and the first few sticks you pick up are causing the game to add the amount you stored aswell as what you are picking up. Although I might be completely wrong
  16. So not sure if this is a bug or a change made with the recent update. Or perhaps its been this way all along but I've just missed it. So i am talking about a storage cabinet in the kitchen area in the community hall(Thompsons crossing) Was looting the building last night and noticed the container/cabinet can hold 200 kg. Has anyone else noticed this? I think this is the biggest storage capacity I've seen in the entire game. Although it might be a bug.

During my old Interloper 800 days run (pre update) My main base was Mountaineers hut I used to go on a holiday every 100 days or so to Milton basin/marsh ridge, only one wolf to worry about and a potential moose spawn. Although even though there were moose markings on the trees, this particular one manged to evade me for just over 800 days. Never got the chance to take it down in the whole run.
  18. I don't really care if it a bunch of tinder plugs we get. I would just like to play the tales in Interloper for the challenge /reason to explore. Although personally I don't like not being able to level all skills on Interloper , so I usually set up a custom gunterloper. But there's too many guns. What i would really love is either a new game mode with interloper settings and guns available but very rare ,like 2x rifles and 2x revolvers in the entire map with no cleaning kits at all (gives more reason to visit the milling machine)and with 1x knife and 1x hatchet, would also like to be have access to all the types of clothing(again very rare to find) Or have the tales as a toggleable option for custom
  19. Have you tried R2? I've just been playing on xbox and it has changed to right trigger to light. To be fair it's a good change. It used to be the case if you hit right trigger by mistake you would waste a match. Not any more:)

  21. Thanks, yeah tbh I've only got like 10%of the bar left to fill to hit lvl 5. So will probably just continue repairing when clothing gets to 80%.
