Be able to interact with a placed lantern

It would be nice if you could toggle a lantern's state while it's sitting in the world.

What by turing the knob and the light flame drops a bit and gets darker ?? and then turn it up full and you light up the whole neighbourhood ?? That would add to something, like the rifle reload action now . . But then again, where do we stop ??

The simplicity of having one interaction mode (i.e., click to interact) means we can't easily support multiple interaction types like you describe. Interact means pick up lantern, so our current interaction model can't distinguish between pick-up and turn on/off).

However -- we have noticed it's too easy to mistakenly turn on/off the lantern, and we're currently prototyping an idea to solve this problem. If it works out, it would allow us to do what you are asking for (turn on/off placed lanterns).
