Can we use meat as bait?

Hi! I'be never trylied, but i'm wondering if we could use meat like bait to hunt wolves.

I'm still learning / playing this fun game but I have never thought of placing my stinking piece of flesh (lowest percentage ? ) out as bait to attract a wolf/bear.

I survived six days without find a rifle just eating meat of wolves attacking me, with a good amount of antibiotics and bandages. Finally i was killed by i wolf when i found a rifle, because i can not aim well with the controller

i guess in my lone play alone it depends entirely down to the difficulty level and your gaming will to survive?

the good thing about this game is you have options.

I play voyager level. I want to enjoy everything, i think it's a good lever to start.

Yes, you can. On the keyboard it's under number 4. I don't know, which button is mapped to this action on controller.

On controllers, use the down dpad when a wolf is following to drop decoy food

Thank you guys, i'll try next play (only on saturday, because my wife gave me the ultimatum ). I'm looking to find a good tactic, i play with xbox one platform after 15 year of pc gaming with mouse and i'm a scarce controller shooter.
