Storms in coastal highway

Are the storms in coastal highway longer or more severe or comes more frequently? I mean CH is next to the ocean so it would make sense that the storms there are more severe.

I always thought PV to be the place with the most storms, which is why I nicknamed it Blizzard Valley CH is somewhere in the middle between ML and PV, if there is a difference at all.

I've seen quite a variation in weather "fortunes" just playing in the same location over and over so I'm not certain they would make one map more stormy than another. I sometimes wonder if the game storm calculations take into consideration the player's situation. Always seem to get fogged in when I go fishing!

I do think storms and other aspects are something which the developers seek to tune based either on performance statistics (?) or merely based on our feedback in the alpha forum.
