[Solved] Equipment Wear

If you have more than one can opener they all wear when used(open one can and all degrade). I think crowbars do also. Rifles and hatchets wear correctly as they become equipped. (i think)

Don -- are you sure about this? I just tested, and I only see one can opener being degraded when you open a can. It always selects the highest-condition opener to use.

I will try again. I had two can openers opened one can and they both dropped 9 or 10 %

Are you certain you only opened one can?

Considering Alan's comment about always using the opener with the greatest % it seems possible that you had two openers with similar condition. Open one can, best opener condition lessened below second opener. Open second can, second opener (now the highest condition) is used.

That may be right. Both where at 46 and 47%.

I guess I assumed one would be used until gone then the other.

Ok another goose chase. Just rechecked and it is working correctly. I guess I opened 2 cans and they each wore once.
