Food/Hunger Calorie increased ??

Didn't see it in the change log, but when I started playthroughs I has at 50%hunger with 2700 odd calories, and then when I got some food in my backpack, I decided to eat, and had to eat venison, and a MRE, 3 Candy bars and beef Jerky before I stopped being a little hungry and had calories of 4996.

Is this a change or a mistake ??

Whoops! I was playing around with the Calorie total and forgot to put it back.

If we increased the total we'd have to modify the thresholds, which are currently absolute values and not set as percentages. Sorry about that. You can see there was a lot of gameplay tuning this update and I guess this one slipped through...

One thing worth mentioning is that the starting calories is the same as previous versions. This change only increases the "cap" on your calories, so you can store more calories than before.

The raised calorie max still exists in v.06. Not sure if you want to take it back down to 3000 yet or not.

Very strange -- the cap should be back to 3500 (where it was before it was raised to 5000). Will investigate.

No you're right. It's now 3500, instead of 3/5000. And there's a new message letting us know we're too full to eat. Sorry about that.
