ElizabethLuv
The immersive game-play. I feel like I AM in the Canadian wilderness! (maybe I should warm it up in here)
RossBondReturns
I have always used the random map start...and that hasn't changed since Forlorn Muskeg. I have yet to start there...but I absolutely LOVE Forlorn Muskeg! The three times I've entered the map to explore I never left it alive...but it as a BEAUTIFUL wasteland and a true challenge! The Long Dark just keeps getting better and better...now if only my Rifle wouldn't fall through the ice/snow every once in a while.
Deathdealers747
It's the ultimate survival game that mimics real-life struggle in the most realistic manner. I have been searching for a game of this nature and accuracy for 12+ years now! This is my dream game come true! Screw zombies, Mother Nature is tough enough!

tomatosoup
Atmosphere, feeling of loneliness, hopelessness, the music that occasionally creeps in. Something I'd love is if the sound effects were improved or more varied, for example if each sound effect that already exists had 3 or more variations.

Eulumuri
The same thing I love about camping in the real world: it makes me appreciate the little things. A successful fire, some water to drink, warmth, seeing a beautiful sunrise. I also like the drama of making it to shelter at 5% condition - or not making it, and dying a tragic death yards away.
