Overflow?

When I first started scouting around the lake, I thought there might be overflow. But it appears the devs haven't included it. I think it would add an interesting element to walking to and from the ice. In real life, when a body of water like a lake is frozen on top, the weight of the ice presses down on the non-freezing water. Water cannot be compressed, so it has to go somewhere. The somewhere in this case is often called overflow. It's a real nuisance. Cold liquid water gurgles out along the edges or through holes and becomes a mucky, slushy mess made worse by the insulating effect of new snow. It's cost a lot of toes over the years. The game has a wet clothes mechanic, so it might include a wet feet.legs one as well to simulate overflow. The cue would be the change in the way your footfalls sound. If they suddenly get squishy, you have to back out right away or you're going to get wet feet.
