Maikleeps
Does it matter where the wind is coming from when sneaking about a wolf? Can he smell my scent?
elloco999
At the moment it doesn't matter. Wolves (and deer and rabbits) simply have a detection zone. When you're in it they "see" you. But this is something that may be implemented in the future.
furq
It matters if the wolf is chasing you that's for sure. don't run into the wind, they will catch you. it doesn't seen to slow them down any.
Maikleeps
Did somebody try to hide from a wolf behind a tree or house, of course before getting spotted?
elloco999
I didn't try to hide, but they do detect you from a greater distance when you're moving. If you're standing still they get much closer before they notice you. Not sure if there's a difference between walking/ running/ squatting.
