For those of us living on the island, we tend to take a lot of the natural beauty for granted [not in enjoyment, but rather we tend to forget not everybody can immediately relate to so many of our inspirations living here).

It seems this post needed a lot of patience to be recognized by someone but thanks for posting the link, Bill. I definitely going to look into it. I have started planning my trip to Vancouver Island for this fall.

If you enjoy hiking, hit the West Coast Trail, but only do it in the summer months. Much more enjoyable.

I was stationed in the Seattle area for three years, and had a chance to make my way up the Whistler for five days in December. I love the whole area. The natural beauty is amazing and cathartic. :}
