animal trails

Hi everyone,

I think I have not noticed that the wolf or the deer leave trails/footprints in the snow.

I am out 25 days without gun now and some trails would be really really helpful and realistic.

they do leave trails, but the footprints tend to disappear right behind them, maybe after 30 secs or so.

Ah ok, then maybe they could make them last longer...depending on the weather conditions

This does seem like a good idea, when you're hunting deer by following their tracks. Usually I just go for a stroll till I bump into something.

Longer lasting footprints could also be used as a warning; when you find wolf tracks on your route you know to watch out.

I think longer lasting footprints are a great idea, but the time they last should depend on the weather. When it's snowing or the wind is blowing really hard tracks should fade faster.

Great idea. I know some old and less complex games did have this, so I don't think this should be a big problem to implement.

great idea, its called "tracking" for a reason lol
