Bear_Next_Door
Hi Folks, I've started a few days ago and wonder about the weight of my backpack. That's normal when my clothes was calculated to weight of backpack when I was wearing them on body? Most times was showed the warning sign (weight at lower right) and I can't travel one single day without minus malus at speed. Currently I "carry" around +9 weight of clothes (all over the body) with my hateful backpack. When I start a journey with bow and/or rifle it's nearly impossible for me to sprint. (I've reduced weight and take only the bare of necessities to survive 1day in wilderness)
Longshot
In my case, the weight of my clothes is included into the total weight as well. It seems that whatever we carry or wearing is calculated altogether.
Carbon
Welcome @Bear_Next_Door! @Longshot is correct, your clothes count toward you overall weight. Being encumbered (heavy) is pretty normal for most players and you can run until you hit 40kg (but slow!).
Bear_Next_Door
Pity! I thought it's maybe a bug. Good to hear Iam not the only one with this issue. 40 weight? Okay, looks like I need to clear 1 weight more to get the sprint back. Thanks!
chipinthedark
Keep in mind that sprinting and other strenuous activities, as well as just walking, will wear down your stamina and reduce your carry weight limit, making sprinting even less possible. It's always a trade-off between mobility speed and the amount you can carry.
