exeexe
Having fire near a fishing hole what could go wrong? Description of what the gif shows: 2 guys goes on to a frozen lake. One guy is holding a flame the other guy is punching a hole in the ice. Methane is released and get in touch with the flame and make a fireball. The guy who punched the hole gets very close to the fireball. Wether he was hurt or alright is not shown.https://i.imgur.com/MDsSXbD.gifv Dont know if this is a thing in Canada though
CalNieDaGtarGuy
I don't think that this happens on a regular basis... When I go ice fishing I never smell methane after opening the hole, nor does the heater I put in my ice shack react with any possible methane that may be in the air. Pillock
There's a particular place in Siberia where this happens; the video might be from there. I think it's because the lake has been frozen for a very long time, allowing the methane from decaying plant material on the lake floor to build up to such high levels. Hotzn
Guy on the right is Raphael van Lierop, saying after the flame, "ok, Alan, we can use that in the game... Alan?"
