Longer journal character limit

Man... yall don't understand. I'm a writer. I can write 5 pages worth of content all about what happened in a long dark day, every day. Even if all I did was maintenence on my tools all day

 makes me kinda sad that I have to limit it down so much. I'd love to see a a longer character limit in the journal to jot down all my characters thoughts and feelings and give him a rich back story

On a side note, before the journal was implemented I used to write my own journal with a pen and notebook! anyone else do that?

Yeah I still Use a notebook. I play in a very nomadic way just living out of my backpack and travelling from place to place. So I write down all the important loot I leave in each building and just go back if I need something. Much more freeing than having a central base and it was too stressful trying to bring everything back to one place

Definitely higher character limit, maybe even the option to link notes to areas on the map...
