Crampons

Welp, I was thinking about it for a long time and here's my question: What about crampons.

 

If someone doesn't know what Crampons are, they're boots with spikes at the footwear that helps with climbing and walking in the snow. 

I think that these stats are okay, but no perfect:

Weight could be around 1-1,5 kg

Pros:

-prevent from sprained ankle while climbing

-faster uphill climbing

-faster walking ( something about 5-10% )

Cons:

-If boots are broken, crampons are broken

-less durability = slower movement ( if durability will be less than 50% you will be slower than normal )

-metal and tools needed to repair

-rare

You will be able to find them hooked up to some boots or alone.

I really like those ideas. would love to see this implemented. One thing I am woundering about is, if you would walk faster on normal ways?

Those spikes could in some desperation wolf struggles also work as weapon.
