Roasting deer.

As a new member I apologize if this has been tried before. ( I did use the search panel.)

In a recent game, as a last gasp resort, I started a fire on the frozen deer carcass in the Trappers Home stead out building. After an hour there was a slight thaw but alas the meat was still not edible.

Good fun trying though. Great game.

I've done this, but the fire has to burn for a while to thaw the deer out enough. I believe it needs to burn for an hour or so first.
