Docterrok
I believe a walking stick should be implemented, thoughts?
CalNieDaGtarGuy
It would be ok for aesthetics but I don't think it should really have any benefits.

CalNieDaGtarGuy
Well, increased stamina wouldn't be affected as it is a walking stick and not a running stick. Maybe it could give a small buff on your exhaustion level like coffee but not as extreme. Load bearing I couldn't see it helping really, either, but it would look really cool ingame. Dug
The greatest benefit would be a reduction in random sprain injuries - a stick grants you more stability when walking.

elloco999
A walking stick would be a nice addition, but I don't think it should allow you to walk faster or anything like that. I do think it would be a good way to lower the risk of sprains, good point there @Dug It could also be another weapon against wolves. I would use a sturdy stick if I didn't have any better weapon... Especially if it's already in my hand.
IanS
A lot of backpackers use walking sticks, because they work. There's no question that it would be a benefit. Maybe it lets your stamina recharge faster, allows you to keep more speed when moving uphill, and avoid sprains when moving downhill...
