Bear getting stuck on ice

On the corner of the Whaling Station, the bear is getting trapped in the broken ice. He wanders in fine, but then just walks in place once it gets into the ice slabs, and he won't even come out when attacking, or trying to escape. Have seen it on three different consecutive occasions on this particular save. I've never seen the bear on that side of the Whaling Station in any of my other games, so can't really say it's an "always happens" thing.

I see it fairly regularly.  I reported it to bug on the forum once but not to the other bug line since I didn't know about it at the time.  I can tell you that if you shoot the bear he gets unstuck.  and then hurts you a lot

I saw it too on the same place, I think I even reported it as a bug months ago... But when I shot the bear, he didn't get unstuck, he started running in the same place. After I shot him again he dropped dead.

I am so glad I didn't know he could get unstuck, otherwise I would have taken more precautions!
