NorseRaven99
Aside from the normal bedroll, there should be a lighter (weight-wise) version of the normal bedroll. This could make travel easier with the lighter version or a sleeping bag. Really I don't think we need a heavier one since there's the bearskin bedroll. Having tents would be nice too as they'd take less time to make than a snow shelter. Tents should probably only be a buff against the wind though, not cold. Perhaps though there could be a sort of military tent, which could buff against both wind and cold. Any other ideas?
Rolandtigerfish
Wolf deer and bunny bedroll. Bunny bed roll would attract wolves but be warmer and lighter than regular bed roll deer would be heavier than regular but significantly warmer wolf bed roll heavier than deer and warmer also keep wolves away. How much easier is travel going to be by saving a few hundred grams anyway?
cekivi
A tent would be interesting though. Or even just a tarp. Cancels all windchill but does nothing against the cold. I'd be down with that.
Don Honas
I would not mind having different quality sleeping bags. "A light, medium and heavy". In other words better quality sleeping bags what it comes to heath dissipation. Light: Emergency blanket (keeps you a bit more warm but quite lacking) which can be stored in a first aid box. Looks like a "tin foil" blanket. It could be a more realistic option as starting equipment. Where exactly would you find a sleeping bag after an airplane crash? Medium: a sleeping bag not meant for cold weather. Heavy: cold weather sleeping bag. It would also be nice if sleeping bags could be repaired like regular clothes. Durability of the different sleeping bags could also be a thing. The light one/emergency could perhaps brake more easily and also be "unrepairable".
