Disappearing Gun on Ice

I was going to shoot on Mystery Lake but he started running at me and I din't have time to shoot before he attacked me. So I fought the wolf and when I got up he was walking away and I went to get my gun but it was gone! I couldn't find my gun anywhere and I've gone back looking without luck.

Same thing happen to me after a bear attack.

Looks like this one has been fixed in the latest hot fix , hoping my gun will be by the fishing hut
