Where do you put rifle at Pleasant V. Farmstead?

Are you asking for rifle spawn locations for the farmstead, the Pleasant Valley map in general or just nice places to take screenshots?

I am asking every player around where you like to keep your rifle when you put it down

I like to put it on table upstairs just in the front of stairs.

I still haven't figured out how to place items other than just 'drop' on the floor.  Some items have a 'place' option, like the storm lantern, but other than that I can't do anything other than just drop it at my feet. Then again I'm the guy who didn't know you could open the hood and trunk of the cars, so maybe I'm just incompetent.

right click the item rather than left click to pick up, it turns green look around and left click to place it. takes a little practice.

And it's left trigger if you're playing on the xbox or using a controller to pick up items.

For me, I like organising all of my items in containers so my rifle goes in the wardrobe near the front door

I am maybe psychopatic, because i love to arrange things around.

Even tools like hatchet and matches or clothing before i go to sleep

I like to keep all my stuff organized as well, but for me, the two kitchen doors are my primary exits, so my common/frequently used items get laid out on the kitchen table.

Although, now that we have this spiffy clothing system and I'm using the fridge to store the different things I wear inside vs outside, I suppose it would also be a good place to put those common items too. Need to think about that.
