Hello from Arizona

Hi, glad to be part of this group and game. It's gotten me thinking more about the outdoors, stories about survival, factual or fictional. So it's great to find all the additional suggestions and ideas here.

I'm into a bit of hiking around southern Arizona, though the challenges here are kinda different. Lately it's hard to go without thinking "looks like a cabin over there, I wonder what's in it" or "is that edible?"... don't worry I picked up a book by a local herbalist to review before actually eating anything.

I'm from the metro Phoenix area and I tell ya, I do the same thing lol.... glad we do not deal with the biting cold and wind they have in TLD lol.... would love to see one, some day, that was Sonoran Desert survival ..... sun cooked, dying of thirst, looking for any kind of water/food in the desert! heh.....
