      Rules and Guidelines for the Hinterland Forums   02/24/2016

      The Hinterland Forums strive to be a place that is positive, inclusive, welcoming and comfortable. A community where intelligent, entertaining and meaningful conversations can occur. The rules are presented with these goals in mind. NOTE: Warnings, bans, and lifetime bans are all at the discretion of Hinterland depending on the seriousness of the infraction. Rules and Guidelines for the Hinterland Forums No Backseat Moderating Let the moderators do the moderating. Backseat moderating is when people who are not moderators try to enforce the forum rules. If you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the Report () button or simply ignore the offensive post(s), thread, or review. Report Posts to Moderators Should you observe a fellow Community member breaking these rules please report the post or item by clicking flag button located on every item, post, and review. Do not do any of the following: • Flame or insult other members • Bypass any filters • Post personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, email, phone number, etc.) • Bump threads • Derail a thread's topic • Post links to phishing sites • Post spam or Re-post Closed, Modified, Deleted Content • Repetitively post in the incorrect forum • Openly argue with a moderator Off-Limit Topics/Replies Do not post any topics/replies containing the following: • Porn, inappropriate or offensive content, or leaked content or anything else not safe for work • Any discussion of piracy will result in a permanent ban from the Hinterland Community including, but not limited to: Cheating, hacking, game exploits • Threats of violence or harassment, even as a joke • Posted copyright material such as magazine scans • Soliciting, begging, auctioning, raffling, selling, advertising, referrals • Racism, sexism, homophobia, or discrimination • Abusive language, including swearing • Religious, political, and other “prone to huge arguments” threads No support will be given to those using cheat tools, or hacked/pirated copies, and any forum users who discuss pirated/pirating software will be removed. Er der virkelig ingen nordmenn her? :o

Full disclosure: jeg er Nederlandsk og har bare bodd i Norge i sjue år. Jeg elsker den lange skandinaviske vintrene her og jeg trodde egentlig at TLD kunne har vært skikkelig Norsk? Det er jo bare min utlandske perspektiv, men de fleste nordmenn jeg kjenner elsker vildmarket (ihvertfall på tv). :)

Hei!

Jeg er også norsk, elsker The Long Dark :) Har spilt i overkant av ett år nå. Kjenner to andre som spiller, men de ble presentert til det av meg og ingen av de spiller noe særlig. Ingen jeg kjenner visste om spillet før jeg fortalte om det heller. 
Er helt enig i at The Long Dark gjerne kunne vært norsk natur! Men da måtte det vel vært Nord-Norge.
Kanskje nordmenn er lei av norske vintrer og at det derfor er få spillere fra Norge? :D

Hei!

Jeg er ikke fra Norge, men fra Tyskland. Jeg lære norsk på universitet. Jeg er bare nivå A1, men trenger jeg å bedre her min norsk.

Ok, i have to switch to english :D I also imagined TLD in nord-Scandinavia, that would be even better than the actual setting. But maybe there will be some Mods in future^^

That would be interesting to set TLD in different northern worlds... But it would be a huge project, especially since there was some talking about adding the seasons to the game.

A tip for your Norwegian learning: Assuming you have played TLD for a while, maybe switch the language on the game to Norwegian? That way you could learn some words :) (since you probably remember what they say in english, and then get the norwegian word repeated over and over each time you play)

Jeg er også fra Norge. Har spilt TLD siden det kom ut. Som Sirenesong, har jeg også presentert spillet til andre. Men det virker som det ikke har vært av den største interessen for dem.

Helt mulig. Jeg bor i Oslo nå og vintern har ikke funnet oss i år, men ingen klager om det (med mindre det er glad). Første dager etter flyttet til Norge var det minus tredve grader i Akerhus. Det var noe nytt!

Det er en godt plan. Jeg håper at story mode skall ogsa ha norsk språk.

Jeg tror at survival og spesifikk single player survival er noe men må lære å sette pris på. Jeg fant ut om den typer survival gameplay ved å spille mods for andre dataspil.
