How can i make the snares work?

Ok guys, simple question (title).

--> I maded snares.

---> Searched for areas where the rabbits spawn.

----> I placed the traps there.

-----> Checked the traps everyday for almost 20 days.

------> No rabbits caught.

Am i doing something wrong? my game is bugged?

Sometimes you can be close to the rabbits but still not inside the area where they are trappable. Using a long line of traps has always worked for me. If 1 of the traps goes off i move the un-triggered traps closer to the one that was successful. If nothing has gotten trapped in a day or 2 it's time to move that trap.

@ElvisHunter's got good advice. Rabbits may roam over a wide area but there are only certain "boxes" where snares actually work. Depending on whether or not you want spoilers you can always check a map (@whiteberry-toarda has several excellent ones) to see where good rabbit snaring locations are.
