Hi,

The long dark is constantly crashing on my computer, mostly when entering or leaving a house. From what I see it occurs nearly every time when exploring coastal highway, I am currently in the area with the gas station and can't really continue playing now.

I spent more than 25 hours playing in mystery lake and only experienced that crash twice.

Attached is the log from my computer, it mentions "Timed out waiting for game mapping!". Any idea how to fix that?

Already double checked the integrity of the game with steam.

Already tried to remove the library supplied with steam following that https://wiki.debian.org/Steam#Troubleshooting.

No changes...

Same here. I can go through two doors but not three. Game consistently crashes without fail on third entry/exit from building. Tried at Quinest Gas Station and Coastal House. Using Mesa-git drivers (radeonsi) with xf86-video-ati-git and DRI3. Previously tied before with mesa drivers with xf86-video-ati and DRI2.

The game also fails to start from Steam and takes maybe three or four times to open the application, with a different crash file entirely (attached).

Also tried removing ati driver and setting  to modesetting driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-radeon.conf, same difference. Refuse to install fglrx as extreme buggy in others areas.  It appears the OSS drivers just aren't up to the job or something else is amiss.

I have also tried steam using native runtime ans installed all necessary libraries before using command

Tried removing runtime libraries to no avail

I should also mention I tried enabling and disabling the steam overlay, using the steam beta client, completely removing the game, the ~/.config files and the ~/.local file directory and re downloading, verifying the game cache, used custom launch command "-force-opengl",  preloading system libraries, activated / deactivated vysnc in system and game, playing as windowed, playing with different quality settings, launching from within game folder (both tld.x86_64 and tld.x86 files), removing all custom options from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-radeon.conf and creating new characters starts.

Same problem here, crashed on ~3rd door open. Also occasionally crashes when looking in inventory after going through a door or two. I've only had problems in the coastal town.
