Jolan
I can't seem to stack bedrolls- is this a mechanic or am I just missing something?
June
You cannot stack bedrolls. Same as you cannot stack rifles, bows and chunks of meat. Working as intended. ;p
nicko
no it is not possible in alpha stage. most I have had is 2-3 anyways so I just carry one and place others somewhere else. Not sure I would be wanting to stack them anyways?
Jolan
Sorry phrased this wrong - can I use bedrolls to supplement themselves or beds? You know like putting an extra quilt on?
LucidFugue
No. You can sleep in a bed, where you will get a specific temperature bonus (larger beds tend to have a larger bonus) or you can sleep on your bedroll, whose temperature bonus is dependent upon its condition, which degrades with use. You can repair your bedroll with cloth to maintain its condition and therefore temperature bonus. You can also harvest bedrolls for cloth. If the "Feels like" temperature is at a point where you will freeze during sleep (e.g. -6 degrees), you will need to obtain better clothing (or repair your existing clothing, its temperature bonus is also affected by condition), or start a fire before sleeping.
