  1. Hi all! Pardon me for bringing this post back from oblivion, but I still think this suggestion would improve the player experience. I hope the devs consider it. What do you guys think?
  2. When breaking branches the player can select the tool to use: hatchet or none (by hand). Hatchet is always selected by default. Since I don't want to ruin the hatchet, I always end up having to select "none". This got me thinking: it'd be nice if it remembered the last option I chose! The same logic of "auto-selecting the last used option" could also be applied in other cases: - when equipping a light source - when equipping a weapon - when starting fires - when repairing items - when harvesting carcasses - when breaking frozen holes - ... whenever we're presented with options I think this would be a better strategy than always presenting the first option in the list.
