How to delete unwanted Game Slots

In v.264 how does one delete one of the five Game Slots in use?

Do I need to go into the "C:\Users . . .\The Long Dark" folder and delete the unneeded "Save00x" folder - after guessing which game it is by looking at the date played, places referenced, etc.?

BTW, I really enjoy the many new enhancements - especially the new lighting effects.

When you start a New game, you simply select the savebox you want to replace.

load the slot you want to delete, go outside, place the bedroll and sleep to death

(wolves are to weak to kill you)
