v.264: placing item from inventory

I love the idea of being able to place item.

However, the only way I found to achieve this, is to drop item on the floor then pick them with the right mouse button. I don't find this very convenient.

Is there a way to enter the placing mode directly from the inventory?

The patch note says to look at the options but I cant get any clue...

took a whole few minutes to figure out how to place items . I love it.

also i used a hack saw on stove items and got no metal from them. bug?

its seems that items can be placed only if its dropped... which is wack. an option place it straight from the inventory would be great.

Dropping the item on the floor first is currently the only way to enter placement mode.

How can I place Item on X-Box? I find no way...thanks!

For xbox, you need to drop item then press left trigger to pick up for placement. Then right trigger to place, hope this helps.
