I'm Tejas Stalker. I'm currently the social media manager on Facebook for GSC Game World. I'm also a member of the GSC Game World Forums with over 18,000 posts: http://www.gsc-game.com/index.php?t=com ... offset=300 so my Stalker name is related to the Stalker Games and not because of the Long Dark. I'm also a member of Dez0wave, an independent team that was making a Stalker Mod that turned into a stand alone Game called "Lost Alpha". I was a Tester for that Game for 2 years prior to it's release so I have a lot of experience working with Devs and providing feedback and debugging. I'm new to the Long Dark and rarely have time for other games or forums so this is a rare exception. I was drawn to the survival element and the artwork that reminds me of one of my favorite games from 1997 by LucasArts called "Outlaws". So far I have been very impressed with the Long Dark and have had a lot of fun once I figured out how to cook food, repair things, melt & boil snow for water. I look forward to more levels and more exploration.

Thanks for the welcome and the offer of help. I discovered the vastly expanded Ravine transition level last night and momentarily got disoriented. Instead of coming out in Mystery Lake by the dam, I found a huge, very deep Ravine with several new caves and abundant wildlife. I also lost 10 hours in the travel leaving Coastal Highway and entering the Ravine which made my search for shelter more desperate especially since I was overloaded ( encumbered ) with excess supplies. I can't wait to come back from work tonight ( I work the night shift ) and return to the Game.
