Balthasar250
Hunted and killed a wolf, one arrow sticking out of his shoulder and another arrow through it's rear and died right there, but I only got back one arrow. where'd the other one go? they should be right there. the arrow I got back was sitting next to the wolf, the last time I shot an animal and killed it was a rabbit, the arrow shot through the body and I recovered it a few feet behind it, this time there was a stone wall there and nowhere for the arrow to go, so I didn't over penetrate. I don't like loosing arrows at such close ranges. Edit: found it, it was under the body after the body disappeared. XaldinVii
I have lost a number of arrows to it being under the body. Have to make a mental note to go back after the carcass despawns. Sometimes if you crouch and look under you might be able to 'see it' with the cursor.
Guest kristaok
I usually lose them under the body, I can't believe I never thought to go back to check after they despawn.
Mroz4k
Yea, leaving region and coming back can also help sometimes. Or turning the game off and on - the arrows then have tendency to be respawned as lying on the ground. As long as the carcass is gone, of course. So yea, best to make a note to come back for them later. Journal is pretty good tool for that Its much worse when you shoot the arrow and hit a higher part of the tree... cant really recover those as they are stuck within the tree trunk
hozz1235
I'm amazed how many arrows I find just lying around. I'm revisiting an area and find an arrow lying on the ground wondering, "How did that get there!?". Probably this exact situation since I pick up all my arrows when I can.
