I put Deer because I LOVE Deer Meat in RL, sadly I rarely get to eat it, but when I do it's a treat!

Bear for me. It's a reward when you have finally earned Cooking V and can scarf down those juicy calories without worrying about parasites. 

It would be moose but they're just not reliable.

Bear, for calories, satisfaction and economy.

Calories are obvious, and the satisfaction of showing the alpha predator who's really out of scale is great, and then there's the relevant economy factor. One single well placed arrow can get you hearty meals for weeks. Killing a moose is ammo-depleting, other animals give you way less meat. Rabbits are even cheaper, stones are free and a single piece of wood can be recycled indefinitely for snares, but the calories are miserable.

Short cooking times, lotsa calories (salty types) and oil!

And tasty when seasoned..

Mmm I love me some Fish in RL, I used to hate it growing up. Now I eat some just about daily when I have "cooked" Sushi.

Unlike the others, fishes are really productive making oil, that's the reason of my choice. What other meat can produce another product?
