piddy3825
I was slogging back to Trapper's from the hunter's blind right around dusk as the atmosphere around me began to start humming with that curious melody and the wind began to pick up as it always seems to in that neck of the woods. I took a little time out, had a quick snack a good refreshing drink of water looked up the hill and was greeted with this awesome sight of the rising quarter moon against that reddish green glow from the heavens. I had to remind myself that I needed to keep moving, so forward I went... As I reached the top of the hill, the valley below was bathed in pale moon light while the heavens above continued to entertain me with it's celestial lightshow. As I entered the home stretch of my jaunt, I broke free from the trees and the heavens opened up and the entire sky was bathed in this surreal green glow. By the time I got up to the door of the cabin, it seemed like the power of the Aurora was waning... my last view prior to entering was less spectacular than expected. so where's your favorite spot to become mesmerized? If you feel like sharing your pics, feel free to do so. Thanks for reading!
