All geared up, have max clothing and harwested all the saplings. Plenty of meat and wood in staches. 

It looks like my routine now is to go Forlorn Muskeg to make a few arrowheads, back to coastal areas for beach combing to find more saplings. 

Then bring all back to the Lake Office where I have my base. The secret with looong time survival is to have small tasks to do.

There's also beach combing in desolation point and crumbling highway. If you want to make the most of beach combing, I would suggest setting up a base in coastal highway and crafting in desolation. This will allow you to more conveniently beachcomb the full route.

Drop a book on the ground, and click on it. Choose place instead of take, and it’ll ghost appear in front of you until it turns green on an empty location and you click again.
