Day 3 Advice

So after dying in the first few moments of Day 3, and losing all my hard work from the prior two days, I started up a new game of 4DON after work today. I'm scrambling to prepare everything for tomorrow's blizzard. 

Here's my question:  Do you think the watchtower in CH is considered "outside" enough to be spared from whatever the devs have planned for inside locations on Day 4? Or should I bug out now to ML and go find a cave? Or what about the mines?

Any and all advice greatly appreciated.

Lol, too late now...but it was just a blizzard that made it cold inside too. I picked the mine with all the coal just north of the lookout tower in CH. One sweep of the mine to collect all the coal and smash up all the boxes would have gotten you through two hours of real time!

Thanks for the advice, Wintermut.  That's exactly what I ended up doing as well.  I figured if we got booted from the tower for some reason, I'd just hightail down the rope to the ledge with the cave below.
