Unusual Location For Deer Carcass

Came across this odd looking lump while I was mountain goating around Coastal Highway.  At first my thoughts were it is an outcropping of rock but as I neared it I became shocked at what it really was.

This carcass is in an odd location as most travelers would never come up to this location.  I am sort of thrilled if this is deliberate and not a bug because it will give mountain goats more incentive to explore.

It is a weird spot for a Deer Carcass but maybe the Deer tried climbing up a mountain to escape some wolves but got caught. 

Might Even be a hidden Easter egg.

Had an Interloper go to the same location and the ravaged deer carcass was available.

This was a fresh start at DP on interloper and I traveled directly to this area.  

There is no room for a fire to thaw the carcass so a hacksaw is highly recommended.

OMG! YES! Even if the Additions of cougars takes another few months, i would love it if Hinterland left some hints hidden in the world that they exist, like hidden cougar prints in high areas, or even bones resembling a large cat somewhere hidden up high. Anyway. cool find dude!
