Is it safe to shoot a bear from a fishing hut?

Simple question. If I shoot a bear and retreat into a fishing hut (without a door) am I safe or does the bear grab me from there and use me as a toy?

Also if I shoot a bear from a fishing hut does it try to charge at me or run away?

There have been some reports of bugs with bears and wolves attacking through a fishing hut or blind, but I haven't experienced any issues.  It should be safe to retreat into a hut with or without a door.  If the bear walks around the hut, it's not unusual for its head to clip through the walls, making it easier to pet or shoot.

I'm not sure about shooting from a hut.  Using a bow and arrow, I haven't tried it - I usually step outside to shoot then run inside when the bear charges.

Yeah, it's safe, in theory. But it is possible for them to glitch through and get you. It's pretty rare, but it's common enough that if you make a habit of it, there's a decent chance that eventually you might experience the issue.
