What are these crazy arrow flight path arcs? Anybody else getting these?

Second time this has happened in my game play, where when I shoot the bow, the arrow's flight path gets burned into the picture and just stays there until the carcass disappears.

check out these screen shots.

you can see the white line across the hay bails.  I was shooting from the doorway

here you can see the arc, looks like a vapor trail 

starting to get pretty good with the bow...  i'd say that is some good grouping.

Seems like the usual trails arrows leave behind for animation purposes, but sometimes they just stay there, surely glitch of some sort.

So far as I can recall, I only see them when I get a critical hit kill on a bear or a moose.

I think that the game has an issue updating the picture corectly (like it forgot to remove the trail).

Does it stay after entering a building (in your case the farmstead)?

No, this particular trail did not remain after I entered the house.  once I dropped off the first part of the meat, when I came back out it was gone.  First time though that this happened, it stayed burned in the picture for days.

I think you are right, at least it seems like they only appear on a "kill shot," as I havent seen this happen when even when I have inflicted a mortal wound.

Glitch is probably right, which is too bad, because it is kinda a cool effect when you drop your prey from a distance.

Would be cool though, if when your bow skill increased you would start to see these lines going out to your target.
