Parasites from cooked moose?

To my great surprise, I've just come down with those nastly little buggers after eating a piece of cooked moose meat. I had left it on teh snow, outside my base. I'm not sure what condition it was in, but given that I'd cooked it in the last couple days, it should be over 90%. I might have had a 1% chance from eating a piece of wolf the previous day, but I'm not sure. Is this a new thing? Has this happened to anyone else?

It kinda makes sense realistically, wolves get their parasites from their prey. And the prey get it from plants near the wolves poo.

It never happened to me and I've eaten my fair share of moose by now.

The only time I've gotten parasites was on 1% odds a day afer downing a wolf steak. In my case, I was eating deer by the deer clearing cave and the affliction kicked in, I felt a bit intrigued but the wiki says the risk check kicks in around 24h from the wolf eating, so the risk might have been lingering and I sort of brushed it off my mind but it was still there. Not sure if this is the case but I thought it was worth sharing. Hinterland in constantly tweaking the game so I'll keep an eye for it, it might also be a bug.

Cooked Moose generally doesnt add to the risk of getting intestinal parasites (I ate like 41 kg of moose meat within 12-15 days or so and didnt get any parasites risk)
