Saving and skipping cut scenes

Howdy, especially for replay, it would be nice to NOT have to watch a cut scene over again.  Some way to skip it would be nice

Also, the ability to save a game.  With this game crashing on me, it would be nice to go to a previous point to find the flaw in the program.  I understand why you did it this way, just that it would be nice.
