Giving items to Grey Mother

How do I give items to the old witch, I've seen it mention in the game menus things she needs

When you talk to her, choose the "Trust" subject, and you will have an option to give her things in your inventory.

And don't call her "old witch" to her face.. she'll turn you into a frog.

And frogs don't cope well with sub-zero temperatures.

Arctic frogs are ok

I have to add that giving items can be bugged, I have lost more than 1 pelt, the giving screen tells you how much trust the items give, if this stays at zero try to cancel out, you may get your items back.  Relogging can cure the problem

Is this on PC, Linux, Mac, Xbox or PS4? Not all bugs are the same across all platforms.. so you really need to be more specific.

I noticed another bug with giving items a while ago....

I gave Grey Mother some mushrooms, but I clicked one too many times, so I canceled out to get it back. Then in my inventory the one I gave to her but took back wouldn't stack anymore, so I had 9 reishi mushrooms in a stack and one extra. I dropped them all on the ground. When I picked them all up, I only had 9 reishi mushrooms, the one that wouldn't stack disappeared on the ground.....

So there's that....

I would have been pretty pissed if that was a hide....
