For all meat, raw or cooked, yes, best outdoors. For most processed foods, yes, best outdoors. Only soda, peaches, pork'n'beans, and sardines are better stored inside. For a handful of items, it makes no difference. See this list for full details.

Oh this feature is also new since my last bout of playing, good to know. Wouldn't want my fresh killed wolf to go rancid, that thing just saved my life.

yes well its a learning process lol my bf bought the game and i knew the lay out of ML so well he got lost and i guided him to trappers cabin over the phone . so ya lots to remember .

that and considering i spend like my first 90 days in ML .... can lol communication skills hmm maybe thats why our relationships been so good.
