Filled GM's fuel box but got no response?

I finally managed to fill Grey Mother's fuel box with wood and stuff but she wouldn't offer any new chats till I gave her a rabbit pelt. Then she told me to get a supply cache (which I did and got the stuff) and she still tells me to get the supplies?

Am I missing something?

I think I had a similar issue after filling the wood box outside with the amount required. Nothing happened, but then I added a few more stick and went back in the house and the cut scene then worked. Worth a try...

The fire she is sitting beside will go from 10 min to 4 hours. It's a perpetual fire that allows you to cook or boil water indefinitely .

After filling the fuel box, you should have a cut-scene and be given a new mission to fill her fridge. As suggested above, try with more fuel. Specifically try with wood fetched at the location marked on the map "! Grey mother" for this mission.

The supply cache mission you got by giving the rabbit pelt is independent of the wood supply mission.
