Lots of intense stories here, although some of them don't have very happy endings 

 

I haven't seen a lot of journal driven topics here on this forum that detail a whole game span, so I thought that I would try it out. Every day (in real life) I will release one day journal of gameplay in the Long Dark. This way I hope to keep my story interesting for those who wish to read it, and even after August 1st comes along I hope to continue until the time my character dies 

 

Anyhow, here is day 1, but do keep in mind that I am no Steven King, and that I am not a mastermind of writing stories

{Context: I began at the waterfall next to the Broken Bridge at Desolation Point, which is at the top right part of the map}

Before I begin, I apologize for the overhaul disaster in terms of my grammar, as I've got a lot of going in on in the upcoming months and the Long Dark is just an easy way to forget about everything for just a little while...
