DaltonP
This is a painting I did inspired by TheLongDark's snowy wilderness, I titled it "The Longest Nite" and I will soon be attempting to sell it. I couldn't get this image out of my head of the moonlight silouetting a dark and snowy wilderness, but I wanted to make it very simple and I believe I achieved the image in my mind. Carbon
Nicely done! Very moody and captures the beauty of solitude well. Thanks for sharing this. I recently covered the Group of Seven with my Aesthetics class (yes, TLD came up); if you are familiar with their works you may know why I mention them now but if not, have a look. I believe some of their pieces also strive for a similar mood or ambience.
stapeliad
Very nice! TLD is pretty fantastic for painting ref... I have done about 8 (I think- something like that) paintings based on the amazing landscapes. Happy painting!!
Mel Guille
Nice work, @DaltonP! I love art that makes strong use of negative space. Would you mind if we share that on our social media for Fanart Friday?
