As a 400+ days survivor, I have walked at ML map a million km but the last time I enter the region most of locations were marked as "new location". No they weren't new. If I comprehend it correctly, this merely occurs for outdoor locations. Posting my save file also, before you ask.

Edit: Also the crops I had harvested before were regenerated and I haven't seen any wolf at first day on map.
